Our small ranch is located in Hunt Co. just outside Quinlan, TX
GTRD Cutting was established by Gerry and Tammie Dankowski.
Together, the two have experienced many years of owning, training,
and caring for horses. Their quaint ranch is located in Hunt
County, just outside
Quinlan, Texas.
The main objective of GTRD is to provide the best quality
services and products to its customers. From top quality
nutrition with GTRD All Natural Feed to professional training, this
couple possesses a strong focus on Cutting Horses.
In addition, Gerry and Tammie carry out their plan of helping
people and horses alike and are proud to be strong mentors to our
youth. They have helped a number of young men and women by
giving them a place to come and learn about the nature of
horses, riding and general ranch work. The results of this
guidance helps give these youngsters a good focus on life by
teaching them respect for themselves and others and how to
ultimately make the right decisions in their lives.
GTRD offers a well kept training barn that accommodates a
total of eight outside horses to train show or simply re-shape.
Therefore, each horse receives individualized, quality care
and training. Gerry explains, "It's
 important to us to pay as
much individual attention to each horses as possible. We get
results that work by keeping our count small, using natural
training tools, and feeding proper natural feed. We believe
that in order to produce a true "cow horse" and not a "mechanical"
one, we must train our cutting horses strictly on live cattle and
keep them mentally and physically alert and in good health.
I've learned form some of the
 industries' most successful
horse trainers and I've used their knowledge combined with my own to
achieve top quality results in nutrition and training."
Tammy and Gerry would especially like to thank the Chris A, (Critter), Christina, Stevey, Joshua, Randy and many other of the youngster that have
helped along the way from throwing hay, cleaning stalls, unloading
feed and loping horses, you all are awesome! Due to Gerry's back
issues we are not taking any outside training horses at this time,
we are just training our own.
